Our HOME CARE GENERAL NURSE are trained to deliver high quality nursing care to patients & behave in a professional manner.
Our Nurses are proficient in :
- Equipment handling: OC, O2 cylinder, Nebulizer, DVT pump, Suction machine
- Basic Nursing care – assistance in ADL
- Physical examination – Head to toe
- Monitoring and understanding the vital signs and any deviations in Vital signs.
- Emergency Escalations
- Understanding Critical value and reporting
- Infection controls
- Managing Emergencies such as Pyrexia, Hypoglycemia, Desaturation, Anaphylaxis, Cardiac arrest, Accidental Line or Tube removal etc. and escalatio
- Drug administration
- Oxygen therapy: OC and Oxygen cylinders
- Bandaging and wound dressing
- Exercises: ROM and Breathing
- Lines and catheter care: Catheter care, Ryles tube care, Colostomy care and Tracheostomy care
- Feeding: Ryles tube feeding/ PEG feeding/ JJ feeding, Assisting with eating
- Ambulation: Position changing, Transferring, Use of ambulatory aids
- End of Life Care: Palliative care, Care of dead bodyÂ
Other Responsibilities include:
- Maintain professional standards of competence in line with current best nursing practices (24×7 Nursing Care)
- Ensure care required for each patient is met in accordance with the care plan
- Ensure all patient care is delivered in accordance with company documented clinical policies and procedures
- Promote patient safety, privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times
- Ensure all relevant information relating to a patient’s care or treatment is recorded accurately and at the time the care was delivered
- Communicate with the referring clinician in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain close liaison with other healthcare professionals as appropriate
Transportation & Other Charges
- Minimum Rs 2,500 Transportation charges for orders that include a cot, within 10 km range.
- Freight charges will be on actuals for equipment delivery that does not include a cot.
- GST not included in above rates.
