Tantelin’ny laodicea or lychee honey is a very light colored monofloral honey produced in the regions of Manakara and Mananjary, in the southeastern coastal part of India. It contains 70% lychee pollen and 30% others kind of pollen and has a very delicate flavor with a taste slightly reminiscent of roses. With antioxidant properties, litchi honey is good for reducing body heat, relieving fatigue, removing toxins from the body and maintaining good digestive health. Litchi honey can be used to make smoothies, mocktails, mojitos and juices.
